Easter Attractions Galway
Wildlands Adventure Park
Set your heart pumping with excitement and adventure at Galways’ newest state of the art attraction for kids and young adults. Wildlands has an impressive selection of adrenaline-filled activities to challenge kids of all ages. Situated in the village of Moycullen, only 15 mins drive from Galway city, the park has a number of world class zip line routes on their ‘Zip ‘n’ Trek’ elevated course. The other main activities include indoor climbing walls, kids 4×4 off-road adventure in mini land rovers, mini diggers, disc golf, archery, bush golf, forest trails, fairy walks, kids indoor mini town, SUP and kayaking (coming soon) and much more.

Brigit’s Garden
Brigit’s Gardens is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. It is located off the main Galway – Clifden road (N59) about 20kms from Galway City. This is a Celtic garden that is themed on Celtic seasonal festivities with 11 acres of native woodland and wildflower meadows. There is a nature trail, ogham tree, children’s discovery trail, living willow play area and an ancient ring fort which all the family can enjoy. There is also a café and lots of events and other activities on offer.

National Aquarium Galway
Galway is home to Irelands National Aquarium, which houses the countries largest display of sea and fresh water life. You can see young and freshly hatched fish in the Auquaculture rearing centre and learn about the huge variety of life in the Estuary, Harbour, Lighthouse, Mill Pond along with many other exhibits. The star attraction within the aquarium is the 120 tonne Ocean Tank showcasing over 200 species including cod, pollack and small sharks. For hands on learning visit the Touch Pools for a unique chance to hold starfish, crabs or even sea scorpions! The building is located on the Seafront Promenade of Salthill, overlooking Galway Bay and is open daily from 10am till 5pm and closes at 6pm in Summer.

Loughwell Farm Park
Loughwell Farm Park is located in Moycullen, about 8km from Galway City and is the ideal place for a day out for kids. There is a host of animals to pet such as pigs, ponies, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens, donkeys, rabbits, reindeer and much more. There are also lots of activities such as a playbarn with bouncy castles, bouncy slide, bstacle course, timber play villages, sand dunes with slides and play diggers, sand pit with play boat, strawbale maze, toddler swings, zip wire, pedal go karts and more.
